Riparian Rangers / Tree Tending

Come out to provide maintenance on newly planted riparian forest buffers throughout Big Elk Creek State Park.

Most events will be 11:00am-1:00pm and followed by a stop at Old Stone Cider for any that are interested, but check the list below and the signup sheet for each date's starting time.

What to Bring and Wear

We will supply needed tools and supplies.
Participants should dress for the weather including:
- strong boots
- tick/insect repellent
- water or coffee bottle

- gloves (we have them if you forget)

Where We Meet

Parking details will be sent to registrants for each date. Most events start at the Springlawn trail parking lot off Route 841 (39.735148, -75.875408) which is 1/4 mile north of Wills Farm Rd.

Some events are held at the Big Elk Creek State Park lot at 344 Strickersville Rd, Landenberg, PA 19350.
